I've always been a tinkerer and come from a family of artists. So, naturally UX is the perfect space for me. I started off building small websites for friends and family back in the day when it was possible to do simple HTML pages. As the space grew and the technology became more complicated, it became clear I would need to start specializing. I found that I loved blending design with technology and naturally gravitated to software design as it game the opportunity to be close to technology (which I love) and yet still be able to express myself creatively.
I quickly learned understanding technology, agile and design; packing it in a way that allowed fast delivery but still maintaining quality was something I was good at. I also had a knack for teaching others how to blend the thinking designers love doing with the delivering of solutions in an iterative way.
